Anime NebrasKon

I was sort of nervous about going to Anime NebrasKon. My Fuu costume wasn't completely done and I wasn't sure of what to expect.

Though as soon as I entered the Holiday Inn that it was hosted in I knew that my worries were silly. It was so much fun! I enjoyed looking at the numerous cosplayers, and being able to talk to people randomly without looking weird.

There were so many cool things to do, even though I didn't get to go to the Ouran High School Host Club Tea Party. There were a whole lot of different panels PETU: People for the Ethical Treatment for the Undead, Open Mic Night (which was changed to something else, but funny none the less), The Balls are Inert (Dragonball and everything about it!), Shounen Ai (sorry that you walked into that and not knowing, you know who you are), Lolita Tea Party (I so want a Lolita outfit... Maybe I'll make one), and of course the one thing I'll never forget is the Happy Fun Time with Duct Tape ("One of Us!" Geez, it was a moving mosh pit!). I loved the rave, that was really fun! And the bands were amazing!

The Cosplay Contest was awesome, those costumes were very well made! I enjoyed the Swimsuit Competition, maybe I'll do it next year.

The Dealers room offered so much. I was overwhelmed by all the stuff they had! I'm going to save up for next year just to buy stuff. I enjoyed the different flavored pocky and the fun to open Ramune. But there was too much Naruto stuff, they need to offer more of a variety of anime products, or maybe I'm just into too obscure animes...

Anyway, NebrasKon was way fun! I can't wait for next year's NebrasKon and to check out the other Anime Conventions around my area.

Driver's Ed

So I started Driver's Ed. Wow, is it boring. I don't care for the other students and the teacher has a dull voice. I don't know if I'll learn anything, so far I've been doodling on the papers in front of me. I hope it teaches me something, I start the driving part of the class next week.

I got $1,800 from the accident I was in. But it's going to be all gone... For a dumb car. Sorry, I'm not excited about getting a car. I haven't been working, so I have no idea how I'm going to pay for all the great stuff you have to buy with a car, oh!, and don't forget the car needs gas every so often. I'd rather buy other things...

July

So it's July. I haven't done much this summer other than read a few books, such as finishing the Series of Unfortunate Events and on the way to complete the Harry Potter series. Been playing my DS everday, maybe I'll start to grow gardens in Animal Crossing now that I can take care of them. I haven't started yet at the new McDonald's I transfered to, it sucks not having money of your own. I watched Tranformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Year One in theaters. Both are really good, Transformers was non-stop action through out, not a moment went by that I wasn't entertained. Year One was funny, I mean it was in a way stupid funny at times but better than some things I've seen. I saw Superbad recently, I don't know what all the hype was when it first came out. I don't think it was all that great, but then again I'm really against alcohol. I'm not really looking foward to the Fourth of July, don't know why. Maybe because I have no plans yet.

Summer so far...

I'm not sure what to do. It's summer and it seems like I have nothing to do and yet everything to do. I'm going to start Driver's Ed on the 18th of June. Hopefully I do well and get my Driver's License.

I went to World's of Fun; those lines are so long. I think I went on ten rides or so rides within 8 hours... Nothing thrills me more than roller coasters; they are just pure awesomeness. They had a Panda Express in the park! I wanted it so bad, but it was $8.99 a plate and I didn't feel like paying that much for a Chinese food fix...

I'm supposed to get insurance money from the accident I was in, but my mom hasn't settled yet. She doesn't understand why I should get money; she thinks we're sueing them... Not so! But I have suffered (and still am suffering) from that accident and if the other guy hadn't taken a short turn we would be fine, so I believe some repercussions should be made.

I restarted my Pokemon Pearl game. I played until 3:40 a.m. last night. Believe me, if it wasn't for my DS Lite's battery dying and not having a charger around I would've not slept last night. I have no idea why I'm so addicted. I feel like I have a bond with my Pokemon and I just need to battle and play and beat Cyrus from destroying the universe! Heh, yeah, it's a fun game.

Well, I'm tired. I'm going to try and take a nap, or look around for food. I'm starving!
